Happy birthday to my friend, mentor, boss and Oga of last resort, Prince Dr Charles Obianaefo Orizu, the Crown Prince of Nnewi Kingdom. It was about this time two years ago that we met for the first time. Our meeting was providential, timeous and orchestrated by divine forces; evidenced by how easily and quickly we formed a shared bond and connection, despite not being introduced to eachother by anyone.
In two years, we've collaborated on charities, children's events, community outreaches, and with your support, the Nnewi Museum, which was our first project and raison d'être, has become the busiest museum, East of the Niger. You're a good man; amiable, frank and humble, despite your lofty station in life, imbued with all the qualities befitting a future King of this great Kingdom.
At 60, Nnaanyị, I congratulate you freely and at length, on all your achievements in the previous years, and pray the Almighty, the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe to rest on you the benign blessings of heaven and bestow, wisdom, strength, beauty and quiet mind to carry on the duties of your exalted office, whilst it is yet day, for surely the night comes when no man can work.
Lastly, I salute your courage and calm disposition to all matters, be they great or small. Your birthday yet affords me another opportune moment to reaffirm my pledge of unwavering loyalty to you, to the crown and to the realm.
Cheers! to your health, our prince.
I wish you well.
Caleb Okeke-Enyobi,
Executive Director,
